Multicolour leaf cozy.

It's fall here in Montreal and that means the leaves on most trees are starting to change colour.  I love this time of the year just for that.  My fun is when the ground is covered with the fallen leaves, walking through them and just kicking them up in the air.  Yup, I'm still very much a kid at heart.

So for the next few days expect to see some leaf-themed cozies.  This one is a simple cabled leaf knit in a nice grey/blue/beige 100% acrylic yarn.

Fun, crazy project with knitting!

It's National Coffee Day around here!

The perfect day to launch my new project!    As the title of the blog says, I will be posting a different cup cozy every single day for a year.  Why? Insanity maybe. It's a project that has been brewing in my head for a few weeks and I just thought it might be fun.  Just the idea of knitting a cup cozy and posting every single day the result intrigues me.

The knitting part will be easy, my agenda is filled with so many different ideas for me to knit. I especially want to try different knitting stitches and a cup cozy is so much more fun than just knitting a swatch.  The challenging part will be writing on a daily basis and it's a big reason why I want to do this project.

This first cup cozy is a stitch I found intriguing.

All the cup cozies will be available to buy in my Etsy shop Knits By Nat the following day.
